Honoring Micah Weitzel: Your Help Needed

January 3rd, 2025, our family suffered a very sudden and tragic loss. For those of you who know Micah Weitzel, you know his smile was beautiful. His willingness to always help anyone in need is what made him everyone’s friend. His laughter could cure anyone’s sadness or bad mood in any way. He could light up a room with just his presence. To some, he was your best friend. To some, he was your son, grandson, brother, and more.

Although our family has been met with absolute tragedy and financial hardship, in Micah’s passing, he has been able to help many other families. Micah was a total organ donor, as his donation was the biggest viable donation they have ever seen. As a donor, he was able to save 6 lives. That was just part of his demeanor and who he was. He was always there for anyone who needed him, which is incredible!

Micah will forever be missed by all of us who have had the opportunity to know such a kindhearted, loyal to a fault, genuine young man that Micah was, and many others his life touched along the way.
