It is with a shattered heart that I sit down to write these words. This is not the outcome any of us prayed for.

We are devasted to share the tragic loss of Melodee, whose life was taken far to soon. Melodee was an innocent soul who deserved love, protection, and a full life ahead of her. The very person meant to keep her safe failed her in the most unimaginable way. We may never understand why this happened, but we trust that justice will be served and that Melodee’s life will not be forgotten.

This GoFundMe has been created to help my niece, Corinna, and family cover memorial expenses, and to give Melodee the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserves.

Melodee will forever be remembered for her light and beautiful smile she brought into this world during her short time here. We humbly ask for prayers, kindness, and support during this incredibly painful time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to honor Melodee with the love and dignity she so deeply deserves.
