Honoring Max: A Tribute Full of Memories

Max’s sudden and unexpected passing on January 24th has left a hole in our hearts of all who knew him.

 

As everyone who knew Max knew, he loved big.

 

Right now, the way we can show his beloved mother, Betty aka Mama Jones, and sister Kathy how much we loved Max back is to help with their immediate needs, which are urgent and expensive.

 

-      Flying his body back from Tulsa to Champaign

-      Memorial service

-      Burial plot

-      Time off of work to make arrangements

-      Sorting through and moving all of his belongings from Tulsa back to Champaign

-      A small cushion so they have some peace of mind while they take time to grieve

 

 

Those who knew Max would know his greatest worry would be to know that Betty and Kathy are taken care of. We can help to ease their by pain by assisting with the financial stress that they’re currently facing so that they can concentrate on their memories of the joy that Max brought to everyone he met.

The family will be greeting family and friends from 10-11 on Thursday, 1.30.25 at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul. A Bahai faith ceremony will begin at 11 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul.
