If you have dined in the Twin Cities, chances are Dragsmith’s beautiful organic microgreens and farm fresh vegetables have graced your plates. If you've worked in the hospitality business in the last few decades, chances are you are familiar with the bright pink t-shirt and kind, bearded face of Dragsmith Farm co-owner, Maurice.

It is with heavy hearts we share the news of his passing. He was loved by chefs, diners and the extensive Dragsmith’s community. His gentle demeanor and wry sense of humor engaged anyone in earshot and will be missed by eveyone.

For many years, Maurice expressed to his family, his wish to have his ashes spread atop Mount Hood, an area beloved to him and near his original home.

With this request in mind, we are asking for donations to help his family take a train ride to Oregon to fulfill his wish and help with any other financial burden’s during this difficult time.
