UPDATE: The family met today and decided to lay Matilda to rest here in Oregon. They are ready to put her to rest with love and dignity. All donations will now go directly toward funeral expenses. The family will share funeral arrangements as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

We are heartbroken by the loss of Matilda Lopez, a kind, loving mother and devoted family woman. Matilda was a woman of faith who believed in God and lived her life caring deeply for her children and loved ones.

One of Matilda’s final wishes was to be laid to rest beside her mother in Mexico. The funds raised will help cover funeral and transportation expenses so she can be buried with her mom, as she wished.

Estamos profundamente desconsolados por la pérdida de Matilda Lopez, una madre amable y amorosa, y una mujer dedicada a su familia. Matilda fue una mujer de fe que creyó en Dios y vivió su vida cuidando con profundo amor a sus hijos y a sus seres queridos.

Uno de los últimos deseos de Matilda fue descansar junto a su madre en México. Los fondos recaudados ayudarán a cubrir los gastos funerarios y de traslado para que pueda ser sepultada junto a su mamá, tal como ella lo deseaba.
