We lost a beautiful soul so that heaven could gain an angel. Nothing could have prepared us for this. Mary was a fighter, yet so gentle at the same time. She taught us how to slow down in life and focus on the little things, because sometimes they are the most beautiful and important details of our life story. Despite her small stature, Mary had a huge impact on all of us, and her mindset was a true reflection of who she was.

Mary took care of her granddaughters Angela and little Mary as her own after they lost their mother at an early age and their father later in life. She stuck around through hard times. Though times weren’t easy, loving her always was. Angela and Nan were inseparable. They were each other’s caregivers—not only to themselves but to everyone and everything, including all the animals they fostered and cared for over the years. This influenced Angela into pursing and becoming a Veterinary Technician.

The funds will go directly to Angela and will be used to help pay for services and potentially assist with living arrangements by maybe keeping the house in the family, bills, and other expenses until everything is sorted.
