It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria C Azurdia De Perez “Mary” formerly of Guatemala City, moved to Boston in The late 1960’s passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 10/19/2024 at the age of 85, after a brave and courageous battle with diabetes, stage 5 Kidney desease,

Maria was a Devoted sister, Wife, Aunt, God mother to most of her nieces and nephews, she didn’t get to have kids but she definitely enjoyed being a 2nd mother of Nora Beatrice Ruiz, Mario Ruiz, Xiomara Escobar, Wendy Escobar. She had the privilege to enjoy being a Grandmother and great grandmother.

Mary was a vibrant and loving spirit who touched the lives of all who knew her. Mary was a strong warrior and independent woman, volunteered in the Catholic Church for many years @ Maria de Los Angeles in Cambridge, she devoted herself entirely to her family providing them with unwavering love and support. Her legacy of kindness, selfless generosity, strength, and joy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Es con gran pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de

Maria C Azurdia De Perez "Mary" de Boston, anteriormente de la Ciudad de Guatemala, se mudó a Boston a finales de la década de 1960 falleció pacíficamente rodeada de su amorosa familia el 19/10/2024 a la edad de 85 años, después de una valiente y difícil batalla contra la diabetes, enfermedad renal en etapa 5.

María fue una devota hermana, esposa, tía, madrina de la mayoría de sus sobrinas y sobrinos, no llegó a tener hijos, pero definitivamente disfrutó de ser la segunda madre de Nora Beatrice Ruiz, Mario Ruiz, Xiomara Escobar, Wendy Escobar. Tuvo el privilegio de disfrutar el papel de ser abuela y bisabuela.

Mary era un espíritu vibrante y amoroso que tocó la vida de todos los que la conocieron. Mary fue una mujer fuerte, guerrera e independiente, voluntaria en la Iglesia Católica durante muchos años @ Maria de Los Angeles en Cambridge, se dedicó por completo a su familia brindándoles amor y apoyo inquebrantable. Su legado de bondad, generosidad desinteresada, fuerza y alegría Seguirá inspirando a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. La echaremos mucho de menos y la recordaremos por siempre,

quedará en nuestros corazones.
