Honoring Mary Louise Bailey Olson

Hello,

My name is Hayley Welch and I am Mary Olson's eldest grandchild. My grandmother passed away June 14th leaving us devasted.

Mammaw's passing has left us all reeling, none moreso than her devoted husband, Bob Olson. She really was the woman with 9 lives (quite fitting with her self proclaimed crazy cat lady status). Over the last several years Bob has cared for her in sickness and in health. He took her to and from dialysis, patiently attended all of her doctors appointments, sat at her bedside through procedures and hospitalizations, and was even preparing to administer at home dialysis for her when she passed.

In her honor and in lieu of flowers, my family is asking for donations to ensure that our beloved Bob-Bob is able to start his transition into life without her. He will need to move to a new apartment at the very least as well as assistance to close out Mammaw's accounts and balances whilst also dealing with his own ongoing health issues.
