My grandpa, Marvin Funkhouser, was an army veteran who dedicated his life to his family, his country, and his faith. He was a Christian and a man of God, always striving to live by his beliefs and share kindness with everyone he met. He was a man of honor, always putting others before himself, and he made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Sadly, he passed away very suddenly from cancer—a diagnosis we only received shortly before losing him. Our family is still in shock, and we are doing our best to come together and honor his memory in the way he deserves.

The costs of his funeral, memorial, and the medical care he received before passing have added up quickly, and we are struggling to cover everything. I have given everything I can to support my grandpa and provide him with the service he deserves, but we are still falling short. That’s why I am reaching out to our community for help.
