My name is Denise Weibel, and my journey with cancer is deeply personal. Just over five years ago, I lost my beloved husband, Marty, to Neuroendocrine Carcinoma—an incredibly rare cancer that affects only about 6 in 100,000 people worldwide. The pain of losing him is something our family carries every day, but in his memory, I have found purpose: to help advance cancer research and awareness so that others may have hope.

The University of Arizona and Swing for Hope hold a special place in my heart. Their dedication to cancer research spans many areas, including rare cancers like the one that took Marty from us. Thanks to advancements in diagnostic testing, more cases are being identified, making research more critical than ever. But we can’t do it alone—we need your help.
