Honoring Martin “Spud” Theriot Jr. – Final Expenses & A Father’s Wish

On July 7, 2025, my father, Martin Robert Theriot Jr. — known lovingly as “Spud” or “Marty Bob” — passed away at the age of 58. He was a quiet, private man, but his heart was big and his love for others was even bigger. If you knew him, you knew his sense of humor could light up a room, and that he’d give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.

Over the past week, many people have reached out asking how they can help. I’m creating this GoFundMe to give those who loved my dad a way to honor him.

These funds will help with:

• Final hospital bills

• The cost of laying him to rest, privately, as he wished

• Fulfilling his final dream: helping pay for my wedding venue

My dad was so excited about my upcoming wedding. He couldn’t wait to walk me down the aisle — he even started losing weight to get ready for the big day. This moment meant the world to him, and I want to carry his spirit with me as I walk that aisle — knowing he helped make it happen.
