Martha Castro was the most loving, genuine, and full-spirited woman you could ever meet. She did everything with her entire heart and soul and truly enjoyed helping others. She was empathetic and kind, traits that always made kids feel safe and comfortable around her. Her grandchildren loved her to bits and spent every day by her side. Her children enjoyed joking and laughing with her. Her husband often joked about how everything she made turned out great because she made it with love. It was true; she was full of endless love to give, and it radiated off of her.

She unfortunately passed away from breast cancer this Christmas and has left a giant hole in our hearts. Her absence will be felt so deeply and painfully for the rest of our lives. We will miss her laugh, her smile, her amazing cooking, and her endless love and joy for life.

Martha Castro era la mujer más cariñosa, auténtica y llena de vitalidad que se pudiera conocer. Hacía todo con todo su corazón y alma, y disfrutaba de verdad ayudando a los demás. Era empática y amable, cualidades que siempre hacían que los niños se sintieran seguros y a gusto a su alrededor. Sus nietos la adoraban y pasaban todos los días a su lado. Sus hijos disfrutaban bromeando y riendo con ella. Su esposo solía bromear diciendo que todo lo que ella cocinaba salía delicioso porque lo hacía con amor. Y era cierto, estaba llena de un amor infinito para dar y lo irradiaba a su alrededor.

Lamentablemente, falleció de cáncer de mama esta Navidad y ha dejado un vacío inmenso en nuestros corazones. Su ausencia se sentirá profunda y dolorosamente durante el resto de nuestras vidas. Extrañaremos su risa, su sonrisa, su maravillosa cocina y su amor y alegría infinitos por la vida.
