My brother Markise was a loving son, a devoted father to his one-year-old daughter, and a kind, protective brother. He was always there for his family when needed, offering support and love without hesitation. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him, and he was truly such a caring soul underneath his tough exterior.

Yesterday morning, Markise was suddenly taken from us in a tragic situation. The shock and pain of his loss have left us unprepared for the costs of his funeral, all while we try to grieve and come to terms with the fact that such a large piece of our heart is gone. We are reaching out to our community for help during this incredibly difficult time.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering Markise’s funeral expenses, the service, and a tombstone to honor his memory.
