Honoring Mark Navarro's Life and Legacy

Hi everyone, my name is Rodney Navarro, and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my entire family as we grieve the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of our beloved father, brother, son, and friend, Mark Navarro, who passed away on February 2, 2026.

As we process this sudden loss, our family is now working to raise funds to bring Mark home from Hawaii to Seaside — the place where he grew up, where he was known, and where so many people loved him. We want to honor him with a service surrounded by the community and family members who meant so much to him, and to lay him to rest in the hometown that always held a special place in his heart.

Mark was truly a great man — strong, kind, and full of love. He had a way of lighting up any room he walked into, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He was generous even when he had little, and he made people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Mark loved meeting new people, and he carried a rare gift of bringing others together through his warmth and spirit.

My dad was a man of incredible strength. Even when life was difficult, he never let the weight of his struggles show on his face. He carried himself with courage, and through it all, he continued to love deeply, uplift others, and reflect God’s goodness. His perseverance was my biggest inspiration, and his presence was a blessing to everyone who knew him.

Above all, his faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of who he was. He made sure everyone knew who his Lord and Savior was, and he gave God the glory for the strength that carried him through every season of life. Mark truly believed that without God, he would not have made it through the toughest times — and it was his faith that shaped him into the strong and compassionate man we will always remember.

Mark was the oldest of his siblings and such a steady, guiding presence in our family. He loved us all so deeply and cared so much for the people around him. While we miss him more than words can say, we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited in heaven with his beloved twin brother, Eric, and his father, Eddy.

Although his time on Earth was cut short, Mark touched countless lives and left an impact that will never fade. His passing has created a devastating hole in our family, but we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.

We are doing everything we can to honor him with the burial and service he desired and deserves. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help our family with funeral, memorial, and travel expenses.

More than anything, we ask for your prayers, love, and support as we navigate this heartbreaking loss.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read, and for keeping our family in your thoughts. We are deeply grateful.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
