With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Maria Adela Diaz "Maria Montelongo", affectionately known as "La Gorda de Oro." She was our beloved mother, a grandmother, an amazing daughter and the shining heart of our family. Her laughter, warmth, craziness and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her, and she brought joy and light to even the darkest days.

Maria devoted her life to her family, single mother of two beautiful daughters and left behind 8 granddaughters, she was always putting others before herself. She was our anchor, our storyteller, and our biggest cheerleader. Now, as we navigate life without her, we want to honor her legacy by coming together to give her the farewell she truly deserves.
