On Thanksgiving night, my mother in law, Maria Magaña went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous fight with cancer. While her passing has brought deep sorrow to her family and community, we find comfort knowing she is now resting in God’s presence, free from pain and embraced by His eternal peace.

Maria was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and a woman whose faith shaped every part of her life. She reflected God’s love through her kindness, her generosity, and the way she treated everyone with compassion. People were naturally drawn to her warm spirit, and she touched countless lives simply by being who she was.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help the Magaña family for funeral services, one that honors her faith, her love, and the legacy she leaves behind. Maria lived her life serving others, offering encouragement, comfort, and support to anyone who needed it. Her faith was steadfast, even in her hardest moments, and now she rests in the fullness of God’s glory.
