In Loving Memory of Maria Clemencia Hernandez
Dear Family & Friends,
It is with deep sorrow that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Maria Clemencia Hernandez on January 8, 2025. My mother, Maria, suffered a stroke on Wednesday night that tragically took her life at the age of 51.
Maria was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her humor, warmth, and boundless kindness. Her loss leaves a profound void in our hearts, and we are devastated by her passing. She was a strong woman who dedicated her life to her family and those in need without wanting anything in return.
My mother worked tirelessly to build a better life for our family. Coming to the United States with no formal education and no knowledge of English, she forged a path through hard work as a housekeeper and janitor, always striving to provide for us. Her unshakeable spirit, kindness to others, and dedication to those in need – especially those in homeless shelters – defined her life. Maria had a calming presence, facing every challenge with grace and a thankful heart. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful soul.
In this difficult time, we are struggling to cover the unexpected costs of her funeral and memorial services. We want to give Maria the memorial she deserves, one that honors her memory and the love she gave to everyone around her.
We humbly ask for your support in helping us lay her to rest and say our final goodbyes. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us during this difficult time. Your generosity and kindness would mean the world to us as we navigate this painful loss.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
With love and gratitude,
