It is with deep sadness that I share the news of my mother, Marcy Page's, passing today after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite her strength and unwavering spirit, and even through the pain and chemo treatments, this aggressive disease ultimately became too much for her. I was by her side as she peacefully passed this morning at the hospital.
Marcy was the one who brought me into this world, and it was my privilege to be there as she transitioned to the next. Now, I am navigating the unexpected responsibilities that come with her passing.
Mom always instilled in me the importance of hard work and independence, values I have always strived to uphold. However, I now find myself in a position where I need to reach out to her beloved friends and family for support with the unexpected expenses associated with her passing.
It was Marcy's wish to be cremated, and my wife and I are committed to honoring that. We plan to eventually take her ashes home to New Hampshire, a place she cherished, and lay them to rest atop her favorite mountain alongside her mother, who passed in 2008. It brings me a measure of comfort to know that she is now reunited with her brother, my Uncle Shane, who we lost in January, and her father, my Grandpa Russ, who passed a couple of years prior.
In lieu of flowers or other charitable donations, my wife and I would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you might be able to make here to help us with these unexpected expenses as we honor Marcy's memory. Every little bit truly makes a difference and is deeply appreciated.
Please also consider sharing this campaign with anyone else who may wish to offer their support.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love,
Joey Page
