My name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times my family has faced. My father, Marco A. Rivas, passed away unexpectedly from a massive stroke with a brain bleed at just 60 years old. He was healthy and active, still working up until the day before his stroke, and was about to celebrate 21 years at Seguin Chevrolet. On the night of February 16th, I found him unconscious and rushed him to the hospital. He was transferred to San Antonio for further treatment, but sadly, he passed away from brain swelling on February 20th, which was also his youngest son’s 22nd birthday.

My dad was a happy, funny person who loved cars and working on them, always bringing joy to everyone around him. He had a huge family and countless friends who loved him dearly. He was also a proud grandpa to five grandchildren—three boys and two girls—who he loved so much and who were his world, along with his children. Losing him so suddenly has left us heartbroken and facing unexpected expenses for his funeral and burial. We want to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but we need help to make that possible.
