Honoring Marcella — A Mother, A Fighter, A Woman Who Never Stopped Giving
Marcella is the most unselfish, loving, and resilient person I have ever known. She is the kind of woman who gave everything she had to others, even when she had nothing left for herself.
Her life was never easy—nothing was handed to her. Every step forward, every bit of stability, every moment of joy was something she fought hard to earn.
And yet, she never stopped being an incredible mother.
Even while fighting her own battles—emotionally, physically, and now medically—Marcella always put her children first.
She showed up even when she was exhausted.
She loved fiercely even when life had been unkind to her.
She protected, encouraged, and sacrificed in ways most people will NEVER fully understand.
She carried her pain quietly so her children wouldn’t have to carry it.
Marcella is now facing stage 4 aggressive lung cancer, and hospice care is involved. The doctors have been honest with us—they are not giving her much time.
Our focus now is on comfort, peace, and surrounding her with love in the time she has left. Even now, she worries more about others than herself.
This fundraiser is to help with hospice-related needs, and final arrangements.
More than anything, we want to give Marcella dignity, peace, and a farewell that truly reflects who she is—a strong, loving, unforgettable woman.
She spent her life feeling like she had to fight for everything and that she was often unseen or unloved.
We want her to know, without a doubt, that she mattered. That she was deeply loved. That her life meant something.
If you knew Marcella, you know she wasn’t meant for anything plain or forgettable. She deserves a farewell that reflects her bold spirit.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us give her the goodbye she never asked for, but absolutely deserves.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us honor a woman who spent her life loving others, fighting for her children, and showing strength even when life made it unbearably hard.
I will be the one in charge of the funeral and all the cost associated with it. My mother has named me her legal representative to make all final decisions with her remains. These funds will be solely used for her funeral services
