Mandy Marie Hassinger was a fighter. Through health issues, she cared deeply for everyone around her, even those she didn’t know. Her beliefs were rooted in the betterment of every single person. She was courageous, outspoken, gentle, and tough when needed. She was and will always be my best friend. She called me her atlas, but truly, she was mine. Mandy taught me so much, and I can never repay her. She leaves behind a hole that can never be filled or forgotten.

We prepared for the last few years, but we never imagined the true cost of saying goodbye. The expenses for cremation, time off work, and the trip to Savannah—her chosen final resting place—are more than I ever expected. I am reaching out for help to cover these costs and to manage household bills during this difficult time. Whatever you can give will be a tremendous help and will ease some of the stress I’m facing.
