Honoring Mama Erma: A Life of Love and Service
Donation protected
We are HONORING a beautiful soul gone too soon from this world.
On Monday, March 31st, 2025 our mother was found murdered in her apartment complex. Our mother, affectionately known as “Mama Erma” to the entire community and her church family was the victim of a senseless murder that would not have happened had our justice system not failed to do their part.
Mama Erma was a beacon of light, ray of sunshine and always ready to help anyone. Her passion for building and mentoring people was her life’s joy. At anytime, she could be found feeding the homeless, clothing strangers, praying for the needs of others, housing family and friends - just about any task that would make someone else’s life better - she was there! She was always ready to share her faith and invite others to church.
Mama Erma was a woman of strong faith and prayer. She was often heard saying, “Oh No, I dont play about my relationship with God” While our focus is not on how she transitioned, but how she loved and enjoyed life. She lived to the fullest. Smiling. Laughing. Doing what she was created to do. She was a pillar in her church, singing in the choir, leader of the hospitality team, altar ministry and other ministries. Her smile was comforting and her laugh contagious. It was evident to all who knew her that living for Jesus was the center of her joy.
So many have reached out from the community, her employer and our church family wanting to help us during this tragedy.
As her daughters begin the planning of Mama Erma’s “Celebration of Life” services, all contributions will be greatly appreciated.
