The Longo's are experiencing the unimaginable ascent to heaven by their beloved daughter, Maddie. On Jan 1, 2026 Maddie met her Grandfather and Grandmother in Heaven. This unexpected loss has left them with missing a piece of their hearts wherever they are.

We have started this fund to help with their initial time of grief so they can take the time from work they need and to cover the unexpected expenses this tragedy has brought. No parent should ever have to endure this pain and expense and we pray that this will help ease some of the heavy burden this earth has brought.

Maddie turned 12 and shared her birthday with her mom, Candace, on November 18th. Maddie was one of the most creative girls you've ever met. She always had a craft going and was ready for the next one. Slime became a particular obsession and she had every add-in you could think of.

Maddie loved the outdoors and fishing with her dad, Galen, on the lake. She was the ultimate crawfish catcher at school. Maddie also loved playing in trees and with animals in her neighborhood.

Maddie was a big sister to Max (9) and they had a special sibling relationship that will last forever. Max loved watching her playing one of her favorite games, Colorful Stage.

Maddie still wanted to be tucked into bed by her parents and cherished and loved them so much. Maddie also loved her cats Grayson, Gracie and Pumpkin.

If you ever met Maddie, then you knew that she loved to talk! The questions she asked were insightful and often made you have to think about how you answered her. She was passionate about anything she was talking about. She was unapologetically, Maddie.

Her parents, Galen & Candace and bother, Max will patiently wait this side of Heaven until they meet again.
