Honoring Machado: Support for His Family
Spende geschützt
Our dad was one of the good ones. The one that would wake you up with breakfast before school, picked us up with tickets to the fair. Every day was a new adventure with him. Our dad had been struggling with his health for quite some time, although one would never notice simply because he wouldn’t forget to smile. We weren’t aware that all the pictures, videos, and memories would be the only thing we have left to remember him by, and that’s why he did it ALL with us. Makes sense now, truthfully. That man never said no, from the tailgates to road trips, getting on roller coasters, all the times he’d dress up to make us laugh, all the concerts he’d do for us, it was all for us to have a clear image of the man God chose to be our father because we had to let him go so soon. We miss him so much. It’s literally a nightmare we want to wake up from. For those who knew my dad, for those who had the opportunity to speak to him whether it was 5 minutes or over the years, our father treated everyone with respect and loved them for who they were. My dad was truly an angel. That’s why he was named after one. Regardless of being diagnosed with cancer on March 23, 2024, he was able to ring his bell 6 months after because of the fighter he was. Unfortunately, the post-complications of the radiation and other health issues made it too much for our father to bare, and God called him home on November 16, 2024. Our worlds shattered as none of us were prepared. We lost our main man. Our dad, my mom’s husband, a cousin, an uncle, a friend, and a father to a lot of you. Because of him, we never needed anything. He made sure that even on the toughest days, we had food on our plates and smiles on our faces. Our dad was an angel and was loved by the WORLD, and while we will mourn him forever, his name will live on till we one day meet again. #FOREVERMACHADO
We come with open arms in asking for help in this difficult situation. Anything donated will go straight to our mom in giving our dad the proper service he deserved and to aid our mother in the months ahead. We want to thank you, our village, for all the love and support we have received thus far.
Thank you a million times for showing us how much our father was loved.
