Hello, my name is Keri Dennis. My brother Kyle Shepard, husband John Dennis, and I are sorry to say our mother, Lynnette Shepard, has unfortunately passed. She cooked her whole life at the Remus Tavern. Born and raised in Remus, MI, she was a single parent who raised two children. She worked very hard. We never had a lot, but she always seemed to give us everything we needed. If things were really tight, she would still find a way to take us to a hotel with a 24-hour pool, just so we could swim all night. She had no plans set up, because of health problems she had to retire, and has been on disability for the last 10 years. She didn't have a lot, so there was nothing left to pay for all the expenses. If anyone would like to donate, it would be much appreciated.
