Lupe Gaeta Estrella is the mother of Sean and Gilbert Jr, and wife of Gilbert Sr. She was born and raised in La Verne, CA where she worked over 40 years for the city. People all over knew her, from the Mayor to her closest friends and family. She was the life and light of every room. She helped anyone that crossed her path. She loved her family, going to the movies and shopping. You could often see her driving around town, heading to the local movie theatre or clothing store. She has three grandkids: Joseph, Zachary, and Zoey, whom she loved very much.

In October 2025, Lupe had a heart attack that led to a 3 month hospital stay. In January 2026, Lupe Estrella passed away peacefully.

This GoFundMe will go directly to Lupe's family. It will help with any medical or funeral costs. I wish to ease any burden on her family at this time of grief.

Lupe was an amazing woman who touched every life she met. She was the strongest woman I know, who never let her health or worries change her loving personality. She is a role model to many and lived every day with a smile on her face. Lupe always went above and beyond for anyone in need. I pray that all the good she put into the world will be returned to her.
