Honoring the Life of Maria Lourdes Lorelie Toledo Spengler (“Lulu”)

On August 14, 2025, our beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Maria Lourdes Lorelie Toledo Spengler—affectionately known as Lulu—tragically passed away in a drowning accident while snorkeling at the beach.

Lulu was a proud retired Army veteran with 28 years of honorable service and 32 years of Federal Service, but beyond her military career, she was the heart of our family. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a caring sister, and a loyal friend. Her warmth, strength, and generosity touched countless lives, and her passing has left a deep void in all of us.

As we grieve this heartbreaking loss, we are humbly asking for your support. We are raising funds to help cover the many unexpected expenses, including:
