Lucky Sword was the heart of our family, always ready with a sarcastic joke and a warm smile. Growing up, my cousins and I spent countless days visiting him in his small Ohio town, where he loved being outdoors and sharing funny memes with us on Facebook. He was a constant source of support for my grandmother, his sister, and never failed to lift our spirits, even as he faced his own battles. This past year, Lucky fought bravely against cancer, showing the same determination and resilience that runs deep in our family. Though we miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his mother and siblings, free from pain and surrounded by love.

We are raising funds to help cover the remaining funeral service expenses for Lucky. The costs of honoring his memory and providing a proper farewell have added up quickly, and our family is working together to ensure everything is taken care of. We need to finish paying for the services by October 10th, 2025, and even the smallest donations are deeply appreciated—we know times are tough for many. One of my favorite memories is visiting Ohio as a child and seeing Lucky, my uncle Scott, and my mama all laughing together on the porch of my mama’s house.
