Honoring Lt. Taylor De Marchis
Donation protected
I was fortunate enough to have met Lieutenant Taylor De Marchis as a student for the Fire Rescue Institute that Lt. taught for. During my time as class lead, Taylor took on the role as one of our lead instructors, and an instructor that was shadowing to become a permanent lead instructor. Over this time, my class and I got to know Taylor as a dedicated, loving, and caring instructor and an even better fireman. He paved the way for us to be the best we could be while continuing the traditions he was taught when he first started out as a fireman. Taylor was loved by many firefighters, police officers, students, citizens, and many more. He leaves behind a legacy of tradition, hard work, dedication to the craft, and love for the Job. His students were taught the same love and passion for The Job that he was taught as a young man. Taylor was promoted to Lieutenant not long ago, where he led his own crew of men at the Villages Fire Department. His absence will leave an unimaginable loss onto the department and the Fire Rescue Institute.
Unfortunately, Taylor was a victim of the ever-growing epidemic of the mental health crisis in our field. While this fundraiser cannot bring him back, it can provide relief and comfort to the family he leaves behind.
This fundraiser is backed by the Professional Firefighters of The Villages. 100% of the funds raised will go toward the
De Marchis family.
