Louis Edmond Cordero better known as Louie Louie, was a Puerto Rican musician, record producer, and actor. Louie was a cherished performer in Las Vegas, known for the incredible energy he brought to every stage and every person he met. His sudden passing left his family and friends heartbroken and unprepared for the expenses that followed.
Louie was best known for starring in the 1983 Madonna “Borderline” music video. He also released four full-length albums, as well as a number of singles, including his own Top 20 hit in 1990 with “Sittin’ in the Lap of Luxury”. He also had a Vegas residency at The Nightclub at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Although Louie was cremated, those who loved him want to do something truly special to honor his memory and help with any remaining medical bills from his surgery.
We are coming together to create an event that celebrates Louie’s vibrant spirit and the joy he shared with so many in our community. This tribute will be a chance for everyone who knew him—whether from his performances or his friendship—to gather, remember, and keep his legacy alive. The funds raised will go toward making this event possible and easing the burden of outstanding medical expenses.
We invite you to join us in honoring Louie’s life. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing your favorite memories, means the world to us during this difficult time. Thank you for helping us celebrate Louie and for being part of the community he loved so much.
