Dear friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of our dear Lou Ann Rice unexpectedly passing on January 10th, 2026. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lou was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She never missed a birthday or a special occasion and was always there, whether by call, text, or in person, to celebrate the people she loved above all else. Lou was an exceptional grandmother and great-grandmother; her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment with them.

Lou fought a hard and faithful battle with COPD, leaving this world far too soon.

Lou carried a special light in her candle of life—one that, when extinguished, left an immeasurable hole in the heart of her family. Her love, devotion, and presence will be deeply missed by all.
