Loving Memory of Lorraine Belmonte
Helping the family say goodbye to Lorraine
I’m Ola, Ryan’s wife, and I’m helping our family share Lorraine’s story and honor her memory.
A Light in Our Lives
On Monday, April 27, 2026, our family’s world changed forever when our beloved Lorraine passed away. To many, she was a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, and friend, but to everyone who knew her, she was a source of pure, stubborn optimism and a light that never seemed to dim, even in the hardest of times. She was a quiet force that kept us together. Whether she was saying "I appreciate you!" to a stranger or lending an ear without judgment, she lived with a kindness that was truly rare.
A Life Full of Music and Joy
If there was a concert happening, Lorraine was usually there—or trying to buy last-minute tickets at the door. From Britney Spears and NSYNC to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, she was our "Concert Queen." We’re always going to remember her singing Whitney Houston songs on sunny days and carpool karaoking to Michael Jackson. Music wasn't just something she listened to; it was something she lived and sang with her whole heart.
Her Love for the Little Things
Lorraine found joy in the simple things. She was an avid gardener with a collection of pots and plants—even naming her favorite large one "Julio," after the Seattle Mariners player she had a crush on. She was a talented crocheter and had a special love for journaling and reading. We also lovingly remember her unique "quirks"—she was a legendary germaphobe, yet she could find absolute contentment in the simplest things, like a cup of "ice chips." Above all, Lorraine was deeply grateful for everything she had in her life.
Share a Memory with Us
Even if you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing this page or leaving a comment below with a special, unique, or even quirky memory of Lorraine. Whether it’s a story about the way she always lifted your spirits or a funny moment that reminds you of her, reading your stories will mean the world to our family and will help us through this journey of grief.
Supporting the Belmonte Family
We are coming together to honor Lorraine’s memory and support her immediate family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward:
- Funeral and memorial service expenses.
- Supporting her mother and sister as they manage the immediate costs following her passing.
Lorraine was stubborn with optimism until the very end, and we want to honor that spirit by giving her a farewell that reflects the beauty she brought into our lives. As Lorraine would say to everyone she met: "I appreciate you!"
