On Saturday February 7th, 2026, our beloved Lori Ann was tragically killed while riding her bike just outside of her home in Long Beach, CA.
Lori Ann was an amazing woman who was full of life and love. She loved the city of Long Beach, she loved her community and this tragedy has hit everyone hard. It was the community that jumped into action when tragedy struck, and they did everything they could to try and save her. SHE WAS NEVER ALONE. Her hand was held, and she was told she was loved very much.
Lori Ann was the brightest and most loving light to all who were lucky enough to know her and spend time with her. Her superpower was the power of connection. She made everyone she met feel seen and heard. She was extremely empathetic and always used that gift to help others. She was kind, funny, strong, and fiercely loyal. In true Sagittarius fashion, she was spontaneous, adventurous, and free spirited. She saw the best in everything and everyone. She loved her two fur baby cats Amelie and Sutro, running marathons, riding her bike, traveling, photography, conversations with friends, the city of San Francisco, oysters, an extra dirty martini, and her home in Long Beach. Her warmth, calm presence, positivity, and beautiful spirit will be forever missed.
Lori Ann dedicated her life to helping others as an Occupational Therapist primarily helping children whom she loved very much. Her absence will be deeply felt and her contributions are irreplaceable.
We find peace knowing Lori Ann has been reunited with her mother.
To Amelie and Sutro…your Momma loves you very much.
All funds raised will be used to cover memorial and funeral expenses, as well as her final arrangement wishes.
Thank you.
