Honoring Lloyd Hansen: A Celebration of Life

Hi everyone,

My name is Liz Mikel, and I'm writing this with a heavy heart. My amazing dad, Lloyd Hansen, passed away recently, and our family is heartbroken.

For the past 6-7 years, Dad bravely battled numerous infections, including sepsis, E. coli, and MRSA. These infections relentlessly spread throughout his body, eventually causing his liver and kidneys to fail. In the end, the pain became too much, and he's now in a better place, free from suffering.

If you knew Lloyd Hansen, you knew a man with the biggest heart in the world. He would do anything for anyone, no matter what. He was always there to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or just make you laugh.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of a celebration of life, so we can honor him with a meaningful gathering for all who loved him and in a way he deserves. Any funds raised will also help our family with any out-of-pocket expenses during this difficult time.
