Honoring Liz: Help Fulfill Her Final Wishes

Hello friends, family, and strangers, this GoFundMe is for my road DOG, Liz.

Since my mother passed away in 2018, when she asked me to take care of her best friend, that's what I've been doing.

There are no books on dementia or how to take care of loved ones for the long haul, but we did it. She was tied to my hip for 6 years; she went everywhere with me.

Most of you would have seen this. My dear friend, my adopted aunt, and my mother's best friend Liz has walked on to the next journey in the circle of life. She passed away peacefully with me at my home with my dad and Jamie on May 3rd at 9:30 PM.

I'm asking all of you to help me finish my duty to Liz by donating to the cause: her last wishes and funeral expenses

As I wasn't able to work much, I have fallen behind. My dad and others have been helping me financially since December.

Thank God for that.

First, I need to pay for funeral expenses.creamation.

I need to honor her wishes by escorting her, i.e., her ashes, to London where she was born and spread her ashes with her parents at their resting place.

The cost of airfare, hotels for a couple of days, and some food for my fat ass so I don't starve.

If there is any money left over, Any other bills left that me and Liz have accumulated.

Liz was born in 1933 and survived the bombings in London as a kid and fled to America where she met her future husband, Clay. She loved him very much. Clay was one of the hang gliding pioneers and had a hang glider shop in Santa Monica way back when. Clay passed away in a hang glider accident in the early 80s. Since then, Liz has dedicated her life to cats, dogs, and any other animals she could rescue. She also ran the vet's clinic on 17th and Olympic for 2 decades. She would pay for people that couldn't afford to get treatment for their animals as that's how much she loved animals. So if by God's grace this GoFundMe works, I will be giving to some animal organizations as that would be what she would want. And she would want the same for any of you: to help or donate for animals and the fight to end cruelty.
