On August 8, our family suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of our beloved Liya, just 14 years old. She was a bright, beautiful soul whose laughter could light up any room, whose kindness touched everyone she met, and whose creativity and spirit were beyond her years. The heartbreak of losing someone so young is impossible to put into words. While our hearts are heavy, we are choosing to remember her for the love, joy, and light she brought into this world. Deborah and Richard are understandably overwhelmed and we are organizing this on their behalf.
