Our family lost our bedrock this week. Little Mami was the kind of grandmother who put everyone’s needs above her own. She never missed saying bendición whenever anyone visited her. She lived for her grandkids and taught us all the meaning of resilience. Even after being diagnosed with stage four cancer, she never lost her warmth, spark, or stubbornness. She fought with incredible grace and courage to the very end.
