Honoring Linda Scott’s Legacy – A Scholarship in Her Memory

Dear friends and family,

This year, as part of my IB Project, I have chosen to lead the fundraising efforts for a scholarship my family started last year in memory of my grandmother, Linda Scott.

My grandma Linda was a remarkable woman—a single mother who raised three children with resilience, perseverance, and unwavering love. My mom, who was significantly younger than her siblings, spent much of her childhood with my grandma during her single-mother years. The strength and kindness my grandma embodied shaped my mom into the strong-willed, compassionate woman she is today—always looking out for others and going above and beyond to spread love.

To honor my grandmother’s legacy, all donations collected will go directly to the Holy Nativity Episcopal School Scholarship Fund in her memory, helping to support students in their educational journey. As her only grandson I know firsthand how proud she would be to know that we were helping others at HNES.

Taking on this fundraiser as my IB Project is not just an academic requirement—it’s a deeply personal mission. It allows me to carry on my grandmother’s legacy of strength and generosity while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
