Honoring Lilo: A Beloved Family Member

We had hit the jackpot with you and I do mean literally. Abraham and I (Ale) won at the casino in Las Vegas. We instantly went searching for a forever friend for Miss Ivy and before you know it we were at some sketchy parking lot looking into a bin. You were my dream dog. You were so small and very loving already. As we drove back to CA we decided on your name. Lilo. Although your sister Ivy, who is a German Shepherd, was 10xs your size you really showed her who was boss.

Our family was convinced we would stick to being dog parents. Before we knew it we had a babygirl joining us. Amrezi ❤️ You were beside the belly every night and upon her arrival you always wanted to be near her. Then came our boy, Aziel ❤️. You did the same thing all over, layed next to the belly and followed him once he was out.

You showed patience, love and so much affection. To your human siblings, to Mom, Dad, Ivy, Grandmas, Grandpas, cousins and everyone in between. We all understood when you came near us and stick out your nalgas (butt) out for some pompis. You would nibble on us if we didn’t do it right. We really missed you last night. You always cuddled between us and the kids. But you also provided us some white noise with your loud snoring. It was a silent night.

Your birthday is coming up. Five years young. We plan on doing your brothers birthday that day and were planning on celebrating you in between. We still are.

Everything happened so quickly. We miss you. We love you. Que Dios abra sus puertas para ti mi Angelita. May God open the heaven gates for you our Angel.

We are asking our Family, Friends and Anyone who may help us provide to lay Lilo to rest. We understand it’s the holidays and we thank you all for contributing what you may. We also appreciate prayers from you all
