With a heavy heart, I am sharing the passing of my beloved mother-in-law, Lillyus Johnson, who went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026. Lillyus was born on February 2, 1955, and was truly one of the most loving, kind-hearted women I have ever known. This loss is especially close to my heart. Having already lost my biological mother, Lillyus became a second mother to me—one I didn’t know I needed, but one God graciously placed in my life. She was a true blessing: full of encouragement, wisdom, love, and thankfulness. She always had kind words to offer, a listening ear, and a way of making you feel seen and valued. I will forever be grateful for the love she poured into my life.
We are raising funds to help cover burial costs, funeral services, and related expenses as we prepare to lay Lillyus to rest with the honor and dignity she deserves. The financial burden of these arrangements is significant, and any support you can offer will help our family during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your kindness and support as we honor Lillyus’s memory and celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman who meant so much to so many.
