LeSaun Lenae Shaw was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. She departed this life on July 22, 2025, at the age of 58,  leaving behind a legacy of compassion, family, and community. LeSaun was the devoted mother of Larry Darnell Shaw Jr. and Ondrea Shaw, and her children were her greatest joy. She poured endless love, wisdom, and strength into their lives every single day, always putting her family first.

LeSaun’s passion for African culture and art was evident in everything she did. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and a welcoming spirit that made everyone feel like family. She was a sister not only to her many siblings by blood, but also to countless others whose lives she touched. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and she taught those around her the values of resilience and unconditional love. LeSaun’s memory will live on through her children, her grandchild Lyric D. Shaw-Beasley, her many sisters and brothers of heart and soul, and all who were blessed to know her.
