Leroy Scott was a kind and generous man who cared deeply about the well-being of others. Known to many as Mr. Scott, he was skilled in all areas of home improvement and always extended his talents to loved ones and neighbors. Leroy was a beloved member of his community, a mentor and role model for his nephews, and a devoted brother who spent many nights on the phone with his sisters, sharing in their joys and pain. Fitness was paramount in Leroy’s life—he was trained in martial arts and a regular at his local gym. Although strong, Leroy was a nonconfrontational man with great discipline and compassion.
On the morning of Tuesday, August 26th, Leroy was tragically taken from us outside his home while helping a neighbor with plumbing. His sudden and violent passing has left his family in deep distress and shock. A vigil was held in his memory on the evening of Saturday, August 30th, as loved ones gathered to honor his life and legacy. The loss of Leroy has deeply affected his family and the entire community, who remember him for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
We are raising funds to cover funeral costs and memorial services for Leroy Scott. Our hope is that family, friends, and neighbors will come together to support and celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to others. Any contribution will help us honor Leroy’s memory and provide his family with the support they need during this difficult time.
