Honoring Lenny Boudreaux: A Tribute of Love
Donation protected
As a friend of Lenny and his family, it's an honor to set up funding to celebrate Lenny's life!
If you knew Lenny, you knew kindness, compassion, helpfulness, and above all... LOVE!
Lenny was kind to every person he encountered. His smile was so infectious, warm, and welcoming. You knew as soon as you were around him, you were in great company.
You could ALWAYS count on Lenny to help you out in any situation, whether he knew you or not. Lenny would stop at the drop of a dime to be there for anyone, at any time.
Lenny's compassion was one to be admired. He reminds me of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... 'He looked unto them with great compassion.' Lenny would see a friend coming out of a bad situation and have compassion for them, meeting them at their point of need, doing everything he could to help change the trajectory of their life!
Lenny was LOVE! His love would abound more and more. The love he had for his friends and co-workers. The love he had for his sister and brother-in-law. The love he had for his dad. The love he had for his mom and step-dad. The love he had for his nieces and nephews. But the love he has for his daughters, Ivee and Emma? That love is unmatched in all the earth! If you could only imagine how God, the Father, loves His kids... that's how Lenny loves his kids! Wanna see Lenny turn into a big ole mushy marshmallow? Have a conversation with him about his daughters. That'll do it!
As a person who has spent over 10 years in recovery myself, Lenny and I have talked extensively about the grips of addiction. Recovery from addiction was close to Lenny's heart! Even though he was in and out of recovery until the end, Lenny knew the importance of living a sober life! His best friends would be on the path to recovery and he would treat them with kindness. He would have great compassion for them and reach out his hand to help. He loved on his friends, even when they didn't know how to love themselves!
Lenny Boudreaux was worthy of all things, great and small!
