UPDATE: We received nearly $1,000 over our goal. We are speechless. Thank you so much for making this happen! We now have enough funds to not only erect a park bench and plaque; we will also be able to plant a tree near the bench. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Leah passed in April of 2023. We think of her every single day and miss her immensely. We have found that one of the best ways to remind us that she continues to exist all around us is by seeing her name in different ways. Members of our family have tattooed her name on our bodies, had jewelry inscribed with her name, and now we would like to erect a bench in her honor.

We are hoping to raise funds to erect a park bench and plaque in Leah's honor at a local Elk Grove park. It would mean the world to us if you donated even a small amount to make this hope a reality. The idea of taking her nieces to the park and them sitting on "Auntie Leah's bench" both shatters and heals us all at once.
