Hello family and friends,
With heavy hearts, we share that Latreace Rainey Allen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 12, 2025, her sunset. Born on December 26, 1973, just one day after Jesus’s birthday, her sunrise marked the beginning of a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering devotion to God.
Latreace was a God-fearing woman whose faith was the foundation of her life. Anyone who knew her instantly recognized her love for the Lord. She radiated positivity, kindness, and strength, and no matter who she interacted with, she left them better than she found them. Through her warm smile, uplifting words, and encouragement, she spoke life into everyone she encountered, leaving them filled with renewed hope and purpose.
As we navigate this difficult time, we are humbly asking for support to honor her legacy through a beautiful memorial service and a lasting tombstone. These funds will allow us to celebrate her life in a way that reflects the incredible woman she was and the impact she had on all of us. This is not for her funeral, as that has been taken care of, but for the memorial and tombstone to ensure her memory is honored for years to come.
At this time, there is no known cause for her passing. It was not due to any health issues, as my mom was very healthy and in shape. The doctors are still working to determine what caused her to pass out, but we don’t have answers yet.
The good thing is, sickness did not take her, and the enemy did not take her. God took her. My mom would always say, "When God blows my candle out..." and that’s exactly what happened. God called His child home—not anything or anyone else. While it’s heartbreaking for us, we find peace in knowing it was God’s will and that she is with Him now.
We are deeply grateful for every contribution, prayer, and kind word shared during this season. Latreace’s life was a gift to so many, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Thank you for helping us give her the tribute she so greatly deserves.
With love and gratitude,
