Lance Lawrence passed away on July 29th, 2023. Lance was a loving brother, son, and friend, known for his bravery and passion. He possessed unwavering determination and was extremely intelligent. Lance enlisted in the Ukrainian Armed Forces earlier this year, as this cause was important to him. Sadly, Lance was killed in action during a recent operation with his unit, “Chosen Company,” part of Ukraine’s 59th Motorized Brigade.

Right after Lance graduated high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines and served as a machine gunner from 2013-2016. He deployed to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and his last duty assignment was with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines.

All donations will be used to help honor Lance’s final wishes and help his family to celebrate his life with a memorial that will showcase what a special person Lance was. All funds previously donated to the now closed meal train will be used for the same purpose. Everything is greatly appreciated to help the family through this difficult time.

Lance was a brave soldier, a loving brother and son, and a cherished friend. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
