Honoring LaMarcus Byrd Miller’s Memory

LaMarcus Byrd Miller was a cherished son, brother, father, friend, and community member who touched the lives of many with his loving nature. LaMarcus was born with a hole in his heart and (VSD). He had (4) open heart surgeries, having the first one at (11) months old and his last September 7th, 2019 in which he had an LVAD (Pump Placed in his stomach, requiring him to be plugged directly to an electrical outlet nightly and to wear batteries during the daytime). This is a procedure is a bridge to Heart Transplant. He had moved to the top of the transplant list. While awaiting, he trusted & praised GOD.

After receiving a phone call that LaMarcus needed to come live with his mother because he was given (2) months to live. He moved with his mother in July, 2019. She was his primary caregiver, providing unwavering support and love throughout his life (Journey). LaMarcus had a love for wrestling and was a diehard Steelers and Lakers fan.! He enjoyed teasing others that were a NON Steelers or Lakers fan.

In honor of LaMarcus , we are raising funds to cover the cost of his funeral arrangements, including an oversize casket due to his height and other necessary, funeral services. Unfortunately, LaMarcus was in eligible for life insurance due to his severe illness, and the funeral home does not offer a discount plan..
