On July 5, our family experienced the most devastating loss imaginable. Our beloved Kristy Syed was tragically murdered at just 42 years old.
The circumstances surrounding her death have left our family heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with a loss that feels impossible to understand. Kristy was taken from us far too soon, and we are now faced with the overwhelming emotional pain of losing her while also trying to provide the dignified farewell she deserves.
Kristy was one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet. She had a heart full of kindness, loved animals deeply, and would do anything she could to make someone else smile. She was gentle, caring, and truly a child at heart. She found joy in the little things and had a way of making others feel welcomed and loved. She wasn’t someone who sought conflict or drama—she simply wanted people around her to be happy.
Most importantly, Kristy was the loving mother of a precious 9-year-old son who now has to face life without his mom. The pain of this loss reaches far beyond our family, and our hearts break for the future milestones she will no longer be here to share with him.
We are asking for your help to cover the costs of Kristy’s funeral, cremation, and a visitation or celebration of life where her family and friends can come together to honor the beautiful person she was. We want to give Kristy the peaceful, loving goodbye she deserves after such a heartbreaking and senseless tragedy.
