Kristen was a woman who lived her life in service of others, touching the lives of so many. She was truly special to me—always there when I needed it most. Her passing was unexpected, following a massive brain aneurysm, and it has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her.

We are coming together as Kristen’s recovery community to honor her life and the impact she had on so many of us. Kristen showed up for others with compassion, honesty, and a willingness to serve. Many of us found support, guidance, and friendship through her, and we want to celebrate her life in a way that reflects who she was.

This memorial gathering is being organized in collaboration with the Dry Dock and will be held in support of the recovery community that was deeply meaningful to Kristen and where she gave so much of herself to others.

100% of the funds raised will be managed by the Dry Dock and will go directly toward covering the costs of the memorial service, including venue rental (potentially First Unitarian Church, San Francisco), light refreshments, flowers, printed materials, and related event expenses.

All funds are being collected solely to support the Dry Dock memorial for Kristen and will be transferred in full to the Dry Dock to be used only for memorial-related expenses. Any remaining funds will be handled thoughtfully and transparently in alignment with the Dry Dock community.

We are organizing this gathering in San Francisco so her recovery community can come together, share memories, honor her legacy, and be in fellowship.
