Just after midnight on Sunday, September 27, Kris and Tangela Barnette got the phone call that every parent fears. Their 26-year-old daughter, Kreigh, had been rushed to MetroHealth after a severe head-on crash on I-480 in Brooklyn Heights. They rushed to the hospital, only to be met with the devastating news that Kreigh was gone. Only hours earlier, she had been at home in the kitchen, being silly, dancing around, and full of life. The shock of losing Kreigh so suddenly has shattered her parents, Kris and Tangela, as well as her sister Sydnie and brother Mattox. The pain of knowing she will never come home is deeper than words can express.
